Grounded in Land-based learning, this program is designed for Indigenous secondary students who are interested in exploring leadership concepts, taking on community-serving leadership roles, and engaging with traditional and cultural knowledge. This program will explore Indigenous knowledge systems, leadership, the engineering design process, and connections to STEM disciplines. Participants who complete this program will receive a certificate of completion, a letter of reference, and earn volunteer hours that can be used towards OSSD graduation requirements. Participants will be well-prepared to take on future summer and causal Instructional roles on our team!
